Who are the Route 26 Cruisers?

  • Our club was established in 1997 in the town of Sandy by a handful of car nuts... who wanted to use their hobby to have fun, serve the community and encourage young people in automotive programs.
  • We’ve outgrown our original meeting place at Shorty’s Corner. Our 225+ members meet 7 PM the first Tuesday of each month, at the Clackamas County Bank in Sandy.
  • We hit a local attraction or burger joint on monthly mini– cruises.
  • High School kids are the future of our hobby! We partnered with PGE to provide two computer systems & printers to the Sandy HS automotive shop program.
  • All year long we collect coats, food and holiday gifts for teens.
  • Support and author automotive legislation. R26C’ers are members of the automotive lobbying groups SEMA and OCOVA.
  • We foster a healthy rivalry between the Ford and Chevy guys…but most of all… we like to have FUN!!!
